Nowhere to Be

It’s Sunday and we are in Glen Mills, PA. If you didn’t catch yesterday’s post, we are biding our time in a hotel until our truck’s transmission is repaired.

Yesterday, I spent four hours at the pool. It was a glorious experience to alternate between the warm sun and the cool water. I remember a time when we were in Greece floating in the Aegean Sea when time just stopped. Aaaah.

This morning, Beth and I took a quiet walk after breakfast. A steady stream of cars passed us heading towards Costco. Beth said “That’s the new church.” I was once a parishioner there.

After breakfast, we logged into our weekly ACA meeting. It was good to connect.

I’m having a low-energy day. It makes sense after all of the hubbub of the last week. So, I will allow myself time to be myself and do very little besides self-care.

During savasana our first yoga teacher used to say, “Nowhere to be and nothing to do.”

Amen.
