Hello Ohio

I’m wondering how many of my usual readers are saying…

“Heck. I’m not reading that Bierko blog anymore. It’s just bad news after bad news and that ain’t no fun.”

Or, maybe they’re thinking…

“I like it. Every single time I read it, I’m glad I’m home on my couch!”

Given that this blog thing is mostly a one way dialogue (only a few readers send me an email), I have no way of knowing how this fiasco has been received by most of ya’ll. I wonder, though.

Today was uneventful, as we hoped it might be. After hitching up and thanking the family who owned the Michigan City Campground for their hospitality, we took a short, 2-1/2 drive to Archbold, Ohio for one night.

We are parked in Sauder Village Campground, home to the furniture company of the same name. There’s a beautiful Inn on the property in addition to a restaurant and a bakery. Looks nice, but we’re just passing through.

Tomorrow, we’ll drive to a campground situated on Lake Erie where we will stay for 2-3 nights. It’s our way of easing back into New York over the weekend. Mama and Papa B need some downtime.

I hope you’re doing well!
