6 Steps to Happiness

I suffer from early morning anxiety and depression.

This morning, I started wondering, “what makes me feel happy?” I lingered in bed and composed this list of things I can do to choose happiness. Perhaps these things will resonate with you. If you have more ideas, please lmk!

Find the Sweetness

gratitude, friendship, touch, listen to sounds, taste, smell, see, be in nature, read, experience art, nap, pet or play with dogs

Create

write, play, compose, dance, draw, craft, imagine, dream

Move

hike, walk, dance more, workout, yoga, play, be in water

Spirit

pray, meditate, yoga

Service

teach, give, volunteer, mentor

Learn

read, study, cultivate curiosity and openness
