New Hoot

Our first Sullivan County hootenanny is tomorrow night. It’s a musical evening where we sit around, singing and playing songs from the sixties and seventies, creating improvised jams and enjoying one another’s company.

This is an event we hosted while we were living in Westchester for more than a decade. Beth and I remember many a wonderful evening held at our old home with musical friends. It feels good to be bringing that tradition to a new community.

In 2024, we attended a number of hoots in Westchester and we are happy to maintain those relationships and the joy that comes with them. We also hope to make hoots here a regular thing, too. Fortunately, we are collaborating with a family that has a wonderful space that’s perfect, so we don’t have to rearrange our home as we did for many years. Easier is better!
