We’ve been busy traveling and hanging out with great people and having lots of fun experiences, so I’m a bit behind on posting.
Two days ago we left the glorious White Mountains of New Hampshire. The last two days were the best! On the first day, we hiked with our friends, Nancy and Gerry, on Mt. Cannon and then enjoyed dinner and singing at their cabin in Lincoln, NH.
The next day we hiked up Sugarloaf which – unbelievably – had even better 360 degree views. It was a more challenging day, but well worth it. Not since the Badlands have I felt in such awe of nature.
Leaving the mountains we started making our way towards Cape Cod with a wonderful stopover in Ashland with my friend, Tracey, who I’ve known since we were tiny kids. Tracey and her partner, Stephen, were super hosts plying us with a delicious Italian meal, time by the pool and lots of laughter. I wish we could have stayed longer!
Now, we’re on the Cape (Chatham, MA) with my college friend, Bob, and his lovely wife, Linda. We had a fantastic meal at Pate’s last night to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and now we’re waking up to rich conversation and lots of fun plans to come (more later).
