Over the last few days and for the next few weeks, I will be migrating our digital life from a home-based business to a mobile one. This means that I need to downsize and reconfigure everything I did in our music, video and yoga studios. I will have to create an environment in the camper that allows us to film yoga classes or songwriting workshops, record music and adapt all of the accounting, marketing and printing that we did in a 2000 sq.ft. house into an area half the size of our current master bedroom.
I like the challenge and I’m scared, too. I don’t know what will be seamless or what will be a pain in the neck. This is as much a part of the adventure, though, as the trails we hike, the people we’ll meet or the food we’ll cook. I have no way of knowing how the wi-fi will work or the weather will cause us to adapt our filming or recording plans. I am guessing that flexibility will be important or I’ll go nuts trying to control every little thing.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
